When you arrive at Honey Cottage in Devon
If you know when you expect to arrive, let us know and we will meet you at Honey Cottage to briefly welcome you and answer any questions. Or if you are not sure when you will get here, either phone us when you arrive or if you prefer you can call at our house, we are located close by in the village (clearly marked on the local map that we will send you once the booking has been confirmed).
Your complimentary food pack will be in the kitchen ready for you. There is an information pack in the cottage which should contain everything you need to know. However if you have any questions we will be close by to answer them.
During your stay...
We will be close by to answer any questions you may have and we can recommend local pubs and restaurants.
We also provide lots of tourist information leaflets with suggestions for things to do during your stay. Our local Tourist Information Centre is located in Crediton.
We can also supply you with additional logs for the fire if you require them. We can also sell you homemade pickles, jams and marmalades.
When you leave...
Please leave the cottage clean and tidy as it was when you arrived.
We will come over at 10am (or earlier if you choose) on your day of departure to say goodbye and read the electricity meter. You will be required to pay (cost price) for the electricity that you have used during your stay before you leave. Cash is preferred, cheques are acceptable.
If you require a taxi booking to take you to the train station or the airport, please let us know with at least 24 hours notice.
