managed to keep warm with the log burner. The local pub, The Malt Scoop
is great, or a brisk hours walk away is the London Inn at Morchard
Bishop serves excellent food .... Honey Cottage is very cosy and has
everything you need. Lapford has a good butchers shop that is worth
supporting. All the locals are really friendly..."

lovely cottage. You have thought of everything - it's a real home from
home. Shame about the weather, but we still had a great holiday. Two of
the local pubs we visited do excellent food & ale, the London Inn and
Thelbridge Cross. It is an excellent base for exploring both north and
south Devon, we even managed a bit of Cornwall and Somerset on our
travels! We hope to return soon."

"Fantastic cottage retreat, a great
find via the internet. Just what we were looking for to put our hectic
working life behind us albeit only for a week. Our 'batteries' are well
and truly recharged. Enjoyed the chance to visit Devon & see old friends
